You too can have a published author come and give a presentation to your school, club or bookstore!
Since Jaspa’s Journey: The Great Migration was first published, Rich has done literally hundreds of author appearances. He loves talking to his readers, whether at literary festivals or in bookstores, school classes, cub scout packs or Optimists clubs.
And your group could be next!
Traditionally, Rich’s presentations have tended to focus on The Great Migration, introducing audiences to me and my friends by way of the adventures we had accompanying the massive wildebeest herds of the Serengeti’s real-life Great Migration. Nevertheless, Rich is happy to build his talk around whichever book/location a particular audience would find most interesting.
That being said, with my latest Journey having such strong (yet purely coincidental) ties to the current pandemic situation, future presentations will by default feature The Hermit of Kennecott, unless otherwise requested. In this most recent instalment, one of my friends catches Ses Flu, a variation of Spanish Flu - the last pandemic to have such a devastating effect on the whole world. We suddenly find ourselves heading off into the Alaskan wilderness in search of a ghost town that may be home to an elusive Hermit who might hold the key to a cure.
On top of this, Rich will also give you an author’s eye view of what it’s like to write a book and get it published, plus an insight into the life of an environmental scientist.
If you’re interested in arranging an author appearance, just send me an e-mail and I’ll pass it on to Rich.
